AniDraw 2.2

AniDraw is an application designed for creating animated GIFs through digital drawing. It features an intuitive interface that accommodates both simple stick-figure animations and more complex compositions with customizable backgrounds and color schemes.

The application's workflow facilitates quick expression of ideas, emotions, or events. A notable feature is the default outline of the previous frame, which assists artists in maintaining consistency across frames during the animation process.

The preview window provides an on-the-fly visualization of the animation, allowing users to gauge the final appearance without repeatedly exporting the GIF file, thereby streamlining the creative process.

An assortment of preset color palettes is included, alongside a comprehensive color wheel for personalized color selection. Opacity adjustments enable effects resembling watercolor techniques, adding artistic versatility.

Background layers can be created for all frames concurrently, establishing a consistent setting for the animation, while foreground layers per frame support quick sketches or stylistic choices—either temporary or permanent.

The application offers customizable settings such as reversing playback order to create seamless loops or specific effects, for example, simulating blinking eyes. These options facilitate precise control over the animation's timing and flow.

Once completed, the GIF is ready for sharing via an integrated dialog that appears automatically, though this feature can be disabled within the settings menu. Users can also insert, duplicate, or delete frames to refine their animations as needed.

Animation speed can be adjusted between 2 and 25 frames per second, providing flexibility to achieve varied motion effects. Automatic save ensures progress is preserved; additionally, users have the option to manually save entire projects for ongoing work or edits.
